Weight: 560lbs; 254kg; 40 stone
Kate gets a new Fall/Halloween themed shirt that fits her big and growing belly.
Her mobility is getting seriously limited now, but she keeps on keeping on. She goes up and down the stairs at least 3 times a day to maintain some strength and the ability to do so. But even then her activity is now limited to short walks and finding the nearest place to sit and eat. She is practically grazing constantly now and gaining weight nearly daily as a result.

Possibly. Part of the story is that we still don't know how the Hunger, a condition inherited from her mother, completely affects a half wolf-half coyote. Coyotes don't have the gene that triggers it, but wolves and dogs do. Normally, wolves/dogs with this condition level out and stop gaining, but with the natural inclination of coyotes to eat anything, besides just meat, well... And this is what Kate fears.
After her time spell, hoping it works, she does intend to get stronger spending time in the Alaskan wilderness with Dave. Then it's off to Victorian England for the holidays. ;)
