This is actually something I thought about doing ages ago when I first changed Kezhon's species. I wasn't sure about it at the time but I'm thinking it's something I may want to do now.

Leg warmers can't beat the floof on this cutie. But might be just me but I think you've done said justice and elegance as far as I can tell. If it's fine tuning you want to done then I would probably pick trying to put him in different poses and doing stuff do show off the figure and features. But that's just my take on the matter. Kezhon's adorable pretty much every way I can see him currently.
