One of my characters, Marchosias
i dont draw him much for obvious reasons, he is deth and i am DEAD ANd i have NO Idea why I am ever sadistic enough to try drawing his design but sometimes i just like to make myself SAD is why
He does have a human variant that is numerably easier to draw but im not the best/most confident in humans. His 'cat' form is more like a diety form and its absolutely MASSIve (like, godzilla cat) so he's not retroactively in that form very much in the stories/canon of it
Marchosias is one of my mains, and one of the three primordial gods of my character world, along side Serafina and Asmodeus
Serafina is regarded as the 'good' goddess of creation, love, and destiny, Asmodeus is regarded as the 'evil' god of brutality, anger, and cruelty, Marchosias is the god of destruction and he is,relatively, neutral.
In the early days of existence he spent his time destroying everything that Serafina created, because he felt it his purpose, and they had a strong rivalry. However, eventually- he started to allow her to create and fell in love with her vision for life and existence-and with her. She did however, reject him in favor of her guardian, Neite. This drove Marchosias to madness- and -manipulated by the dark god Asmodeus he killed the goddess in punishment for his rejection.
She has since been reborn/revived, and he does all he can manage in his efforts to assist her out of shame, for he does not like the thought that his anger led him to such extremes. Despite being the god of destruction- he is not really evil and moreso easily manipulated. He searches desperately simply for acceptance and wanting to be loved and understood in the same way that Serafina has- he is extremely envious of the fact that she has found love and her passion in her lifetime, while he has not. But this is due primarily to the fact that Asmodeus is intentionally preventing him from it and muddling his mind, often controlling him into heinous actions he does not want, and driving the other gods to view him as evil and lash out at him.
Serafina however, views Marchosias as a brother and knows he is simply lost, she tries to help him but it is hard for her to trust him after he .. literally y'know murdered her. Plus her husband/partner cannot forgive Marchosias for his actions and will behave aggressively towards him whenever he is around.
She does do what she can though, by taking in Marchosias' son Ancil upon his request to keep him from becoming corrupted by the same darkness Asmodeus forces upon his father. Neite isn't pleased by this and is also extremely distrustful towards him- but would rather keep him where he can keep an eye on him.
You can read a bit more about their interactions via their pages and theres a story here exploring some of it!
