• Biography: Mitsuru is one of the many ½ mermaids born to Junichiro and Palutena. She came from the 3rd batch that Palutena bore, and was born a day before Mayuri & Gundula were born. Like her sisters before her, Mitsuru loved to hang around and listen to Juni’s stories whenever he came back home to tell of his adventures. What sparked her interest in traveling was when she was told of his stay in the Dragon Ball universe. However, she was indecisive on how she could help if the need arose, until she was inspired by Juni to take martial arts. With Juni’s motivation, Mitsuru trained in the ways of the different martial arts from her father, along with help from Mathilde Stevenson, eventually learning the arts of the Turtle, Crane, Monkey, and Viper. Despite this, she wound up instead choosing to be a knight, but with the Martial Arts training, handling a knight's heavy armor was no problem for her. However, one day, as she continued her training to enhance her strength, a band of orcs suddenly appeared, intent on pillaging the neighboring fishing village for money and food. Mitsuru foolishly ran over to them and tried to stop them herself. While she succeeded in killing at least 3, another grabbed hold of her and within moments, her clothes were ripped apart with Mitsuru screaming and crying as she felt this act was her last. The fact a couple of ogres were present did not help either. Fortunately, she was saved at the very last minute by her father Juni, who just happened to have been nearby, getting the orcs intent on ending Mitsuru off her, all in a protective bloodlust that saw every single orc present, as well as the only 2 ogres with them, dead. Though relieved to have been saved, Mitsuru was nonetheless just as badly traumatized by the event like Eurydice with the lone satyr, if not worse. Like Eurydice, she recovered by the time Juni was slated to visit the Fire Emblem world. Mitsuru immediately expressed interest in going and so went with her, where she was instigated in the Gaia Army formed by him, Julie, and Shantae. She introduced the concept of fisticuffs to those who had their weapons broke but trained a good number of soldiers that aimed to specialize in just this. Yet she routinely lead a coalition of knights as well. Mitsuru assisted in the Siege of Gaia Castle when the castle came under attack from agents of the Supreme Forces. She faced off against numerous N’raqi but was put out of commission when one of them projected an image of an orc. Her phobia triggered, she was not able to fight at all, and so had to be evacuated. The rest of her squadron was not so lucky however as they were all killed shortly after. Mitsuru vowed to aid the team in the newly forged Gaia Alliance and help reclaim the continent, as well as conquer her fear of orcs. Mitsuru is as disciplined as Misaki, but she still abides to the commands of Misaki seeing as Misaki is the Alpha to all of Juni’s ½ mermaids. Even so, she’s a kind & caring individual, but due to nearly being killed by orcs, she often breaks down into her traumatized state whenever she sees one. Even just speaking their language is enough to trigger her phobia, and that’s just how bad it is. She enjoys a nice steak, but she prefers her meat coming from a cow that has died of old age, or grown in a laboratory. Gamey meat, like bear, makes her stomach deeply upset. The best at snapping necks.
• Abilities: As a ½ mermaid, Mitsuru enjoys an increase in movement and a bonus to avoid/dodge whenever she’s in mermaid form. Thanks to knowing 4 forms of martial arts, her Strength, Skill, and Defense growths are top notch, but has trouble with magic and resistance, naturally since she has no magic classes to choose from. Nonetheless, she has no problems in the luck department. Despite her being a knight, she has good speed growths. She retains all this from being a Fist Fighter. Mitsuru however, being a knight, acts as an armored unit & so is weak to things like Armor Slayers & Hammers. She begins with a C-Rank in Lances, but a D-Rank in Swords. Her promotions to General or Great Knight will both give her access to axes as well. She starts with the following weapons and skills.
o Hunting Sword: Mitsuru's personal weapon. This sword deals effective damage to beast & mounted units, and can even deal bonus damage to specific monsters as well. Being a personal weapon, it cannot break.
o Ladyblade: Female exclusive weapon. Deals bonus damage to barbarian units. It can be used 25 times before breaking.
o Zanbato: Deals bonus damage to mounted units. Has 18 uses before it breaks.
o Steel Lance: A weighty steel lance that deals significant blows. It can be used 35 times before breaking.
o Miniature Lance: An absurdly short lance with a high critical hit chance. It can only be used 10 times.
o Heavy Slam: The personal skill of Mitsuru. A Combat Art that deals damage based on the weapon's weight rather than might. The heavier the weapon, the more damage done.
o Shield Bash: Bashes the target in front of the user using an equipped shield. The stronger the shield, the more damage it deals.
