commission for  kileroy taken at ACFI ^^

he wanted me to tribalize his dragon

the thing that made this tough *aside from the scale of detail* is that his character is a "damascus steel" dragon.... so I had to use that pattern in the art

I could have done it two ways, to actually tribal out his character using the damascus steel way (which would have been SUPER hard, and might not have looked too good), or this way, where I overlay a damascus pattern over the tribal design

in the end I really like how it came out ^^
I already showed him the WIPs of this pic, but after it's posted I'll send him the link and I hope he likes it too (he mentioned making it into a decal ^^)

AND he gave me permission to use the design, so I MAY be putting this on a t-shirt some time!
