After wracking my brain trying to come up with an idea for a birthday themed picture for my good friend Zee-Zee I gave up and drew this picture about the tough choices a a certain little squirrel might face when a certain item is out of stock at the babyfur mall. Fortunately (or unfortunately as the case may be) all the diaper/pull-up stores at the mall are conveniently located right next to each other so Zena can help Zee-Zee pick another undergarment to wear until the time comes for him to open his presents.
Only later did I add myself and a clever birthday-based reason for the shortage. Kaffre was drawn very quickly and I'm afraid it show quite a bit, but that's OK it is a Zee-Zee picture after all. Plus, I'm pretty adorable no matter how badly drawn I may be...
On another note, I'm not terribly happy with this picture's name either and will gladly consider any suggestions for a new one...

Those sale signs are pretty clever, but I'm sure they're no match for your squirrelly-cunning. Plus, what with it being around birthday time maybe Zena will be more willing to listen to your explanations about your pleas about your big-boyisness....
I think my body looks OK, but feel I messed up a bit on the face a bit... Like I said though before though, we kitteny cats are always cute looking so it should be OK!

Zena went to the store to buy more pull-ups, but decided to bring Zee-Zee with her so she could get ideas on what sort of presents he might like... (at least we know he'll like the present Kaffre picked out for him!).
Don't worry though, I don't think Zee-Zee is sick. The arm position is coincidentally similar to a tummy ache and my "sad faces" always look a bit sickly... He'll be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when the time comes for the party though!

True, Zee-Zee Style Pull-Ups has a rather small (but loyal) customer base nd sometimes have trouble keeping the more popular items in stock (Poor Zee-Zee does tend to go through a lot of pull-ups...)
Still the nice thing about these stores is that they all have a well-defined niche which means that the proprieters can be civil with one another. I like that...

Maybe, but we'd hafta be extra-careful with the dose, otherwise he might end up all naked and pink (and blind & deaf) again! (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1629002/) I'll admit he's super-cute like that, but I think he might be angry at not being able to see or hear anything on his birthday...
This is quite the predicament. Particularly when, as has been noted, the lure of a sale sign hangs far too closely in a place that Zee would rather his mom not set foot into. Parents... :)
I really enjoy the cartoon-like style you put into your character drawing. You can really notice how Zee is troubled and hopeful for a solution fast. As for Kaffre, I kind of like how the face turned out. Looks all proud and cheerful over being so thoughtful in his choice in presents for his squirrel friend.

Kaffre is feeling very pleased with his Zee-Zeeishly clever choice of present and blissfully unaware of any hardship he might be causing for his squirrel friend...
I enjoy the cartoony style too, though obviously the utility depends upon the look you want for the picture in question. I'm glad you likes it too!
