The Ashlening, a one-time event between Visk and I where we make sure Nintendo's Ashley gets some tickling attention. I dub it The Ashlening. You could also say it as The Ashleyening too, I suppose.

Regardless, here's a much better take on a favorite character of mine. Why do people care about Ashley anyway? Nobody knows. It might be the song. It's a really good character theme that nails down Ashley's character and stuff.

Anyway, for this pic, I tried to work on making a more dynamic pose. It might not look like much, but I haven't really ever had a character with their arms tied in front of them or their legs raised up in such a way like this before. I like how it came out, though I'm not confident in if the broom is laid out well. Scaling is something I also need to improve on. Do those feet look too big for those shoes? Do those trees look too short? Feel free to let me know, I guess.

This Ashley is sorta a mutt of her Touched! design and her Game and Wario design. Gold's designs felt a bit too simplified to me for some reason. I miss Ashley's old voice, too. Having it drone all grumpily through the primitive speakers of the DS just seemed to fit better for me.

Oh well, anyway, I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Ashley is portrayed as 18+ here. I mean cmon, she's so... not chibi in this picture. I hope she looks old enough for the cut here. I know 21 year olds at work ringing alcohol through the registers that look 16 so...
