Magmar was the Humanoid Haniwa Phantom featured in the 2nd episode of Kotetsu Jeeg anime, under the command of Amaso, on of Himika's 3 Generals. It had a Brown and Green color scheme, with a white head with red eyes, adorn with a golden jaw, two long red horns and 3 Golden spots on his forehead. He had a normal humanoid left arm, he a cannon for a right arm with multiple ports. He had a 3 eye horn skull on his waist, as well a chain adorning his side. He could fire Explosive Magma bombs, a stream of flame, as well could still operate even if it lost the head.

While Hiroshi is was training to deal with his transformation under free fall circumstances been ejected from the Big Shooter (with great difficulty, do to the G-Force), after further fail tries, he leaves, only to be mock by Don and Pancho and then discovers his mother, Kikue, is working at the base, ignoring the house and Mayumi, Hiroshi's little sister. In the meantime, Mayumi, comes home to discovered an intruder had broken in and ransack the place, eventually revealing to be a Haniwa Warrior, who takes her hostage. The Soldier leaves a note, which is later found by Chibi and Miwa, and deliver to Hiroshi, with the condition to bring the bell – Hiroshi scorns his mother for ignoring the care of Mayumi and leaves to rescue her. When Hiroshi shows up, Amaso, holding Mayumi hostage next to a rock mound, orders the Warriors to attack him and Hiroshi rams them with his bike and in the scuffle. Amaso throws a sword at him, Hiroshi grabs it and fights him, gaining the upper hand. The Ground begins to shake and the rock mound transforms into a hand which grabs Mayumi, then Magmar rises from the ground to reveal himself. Hiroshi tries to save her, but is blasted by Magmar's magma bombs and fall onto a water pound, Amaso then gives until Sunset to deliver the Bell to the peril of Mayumi.

Later, Hiroshi wakes up from a nightmare in the Base's Hospital (why a Cyborg needs medical attention?), and tries to leave, but his mother, stops him – Hiroshi retorts whether she cares for Mayumi's life, and she slaps him for the comment (personally you need a large cinder block or a crowbar to achieve the desire effect on a Cyborg). She then explains that with their father gone, both he and Mayumi are that she has left. She then leaves and speaks to the Computer Father and Kikue decides to go to Amaso and demand to be at her daughter's place, Michi overhears this and runs back to Hiroshi, he then decides to go on the Big Shooter (since his bike was destroy by Magmar).

The Big Shooter takes off, and attacks Magmar – the Beast, tries to hit the Jet, but accidentally releases the girl, tossing her into the woods, where she is save by a branch. With Mayumi safe, Hiroshi ejects from the Big Shooter to transform into the Jeeg Head, and flies to break one of the Monster's Horn and Fights Magmar with personal vengeance, decapitating him with the Knuckles Bomber in the process, still the monster keeps moving. Jeeg rips his arm left arm off and tosses him in the forest, where the Beast sets him at blaze. Miwa distracts him with rockets, allowing Jeeg to use Spinstorm to dispatch Magmar. Himika, vows revenge.
