In the far future the people of Earth live in space habitats around Jupiter and Saturn, caught in a war to reclaim the Earth from the independent android population. The android Janus was one android built by organics to command mechanical armies built to retake the holy planet from independent factions. Janus is highly loyal to his creators and has little room for defective units. He slays both enemies and 'impure' allies alike with a spear that he appears to control with some sort of telekinesis.
