When the tentacle paws emerged from the water, I remember feeling panicked. They coiled around my body, and on contact seemed to liquify and melt into my fur and the skin underneath. Even the paw that attached itself to my face, muffling out my cries for someone - anyone - to help, before they dragged me under the water into deeper ends. I thought for certain at first that it was trying to drown or smother me to death, but then suddenly the tentacles were no longer holding me, having merged with and becoming one with my body... Making them *my* tentacles now.
So this was it. I've been caught and transfured by one of the Latex creatures I'd worked so hard to avoid and evade while trying to escape the lab. The transformation was so quick on contact, I wasn't even given the chance to struggle, but it also came with the strangest feelings. I can't really describe how it felt to grow tentacles and an extra pair of arms; Never having these limbs before yet already used to their motions. What is even stranger however is that the fear & desperation I had moments ago is now gone. Instead I feel wonderful, enthusiastic even. Was this perhaps the Latex's effect on the mind I was once warned about, trying to override my personality and sense of self? Maybe it already has; What I used to be before already feels like a dream I'd just woken up from. I think a deep part of me still feels shaken up having been just transfured, and having to deal with new uncomfortable sensations like growing an extra set of arms... And tentapaws... But that part of me will get used to it quickly.
My journey is now at an end. I've failed to escape the lab unchanged, but there's no reason not to try and make the best of things now. After all, even if I was doomed from the start, this was probably the Latex I would have most preferred to be changed by. If I remember correctly, the old me had quite the love for paws.
I wonder if that human I saw earlier can escape after he wakes up. He'll probably be desperate to escape and stay human if he reads the same notes I have, but if I ever see him, I'm really tempted to show him how wonderful this feels~
