Ta'Hira, the tribe leader [Art by: 0limpai]
Name: Ta'Hira
Species: African (Clawless) Otter
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Static breathhold: 15 minutes
Ta'Hira is the young leader of her tribe that lives on a small island near the South-African coast. She and her people live mostly off the sea by fishing and gathering clams. They are a peaceful tribe but are able to defend themselves on the dry as well as on the water. Usually they rather aim to make allies by helping fellow sea dwellers of all species.
Ta'Hira herself excels in the underwater skills, having trained her whole life to reach a breath-hold time even above the average for otters.
Usually she is seen in a darkblue cloth tied around her waist and in jewelry that's typical for her people.
Having been thrown into the duty as a tribe leader despite fairly young age had been a shock for the woman but her usual determination helped her to embrace this role and keep up her personal as well as her tribes values.

As a little, nervous note: Yes, this Otter woman miiiight be somewhat inspired by a certain Tahitian otter who dwells in [s]The Depths[\s] ;3

Just sadly there seems to be no wild otter species on Hawaii - so Ta'Hira shall be from Africa ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afric.....clawless_otter )~
