Recently, I helped translating Kiki's new patreon contents, and while doing that, it gave me some inspiration.

- Sieg Clan’s purpose and culture -
Sieg clans are typically a group of young Northern sergals who do not have access to formal education, parental raising, and limited diets such as having to sustain themselves on a diet of black Talyxians such as the moles and mice mentioned above in order to survive.
Generally, they live life one day at a time by either remaining in one location with their friends and allies, or by wandering around nomadically, without a clear destination or purpose. However, they still have a common goal among the group; “Become wise and strong”, “escape from the Sieg clan and end this Sieg lifestyle”, as well as “join the group of adults”.
Sieg tribe members that find a clan in which there are shamans or braves may be welcomed to join their group. However, not every Sieg are accepted.
For the braves, children who can’t follow them on their long distance journeys are considered a burden and could result in them becoming a target for predators.
For Shaman, children who have been eating black Talyxian bugs for a long period of time are considered to be the “half-Talyxian”. Such children are also a latent threat because of their resonance ability, as it may bring disaster to the community. In other words, only adults which “deserve to eat red meat” can become a part of the upper clans and most Sieg children are not applicable to this.
Sieg instinctively know that they “cannot go anywhere without becoming an adult”. They do their best to do what they can together, and when they get their hands on some red meat such as dondoko or rabbit, they will give it to the leader of the group who is generally the oldest child which the other members depend on.
According to their values, someone who is bigger, faster, smarter, or eats better is regarded as “the member who can reach great lengths” or “the member closest to becoming an adult”. Therefore, these sergals are more cherished, and the elder leader is given priority, akin to a strongest playable character within a role-playing video game. When the oldest one departs from the clan to join another, the next in line in terms of age shall take their place.
This value of “preserving the children, whilst giving the bigger and older child priority” is common sense among sergals. It is very different from the Agudners sense of “when protecting companions, we should give the highest priority to the young and the weak.”.
Because sergal cultures believe that children which have perished will reincarnate and begin again as a small child, they do not have as much fear of death and the sense of loss as more civilized races and cultures. In such a situations, the children that are the most respectable, older, more capable, as well as those which have gone “outside” are the ones most likely become the one that inspires hope to the rest of the tribe and supports everyone.
