Kitsune stepped into the ancient ruins, glancing around as he did. The writing on the wall reacted as he passed, separating from the wall to follow as he walked deeper, going down stairs. The floating writing accumulated behind the Rokon until he reached the final floor, at which point he sat down. A familiar feeling passed through him, a message that he recognized. “Yes, I am a friend.” he said. He received the message again, confusing him. “…Yes, I am… Why do you ask?” he asked, looking back at the Unown.
A few of the Unown started circling him, causing him to glance at them before closing his eyes, sifting through his thoughts. Normally, he wouldn’t be able to do this, but with the help of the Unown, he was able to set what he sifted through aside, the Unown temporary holding onto his thoughts, memories, and feelings as he searched for what they were trying to tell him. Eventually, he found it. “…’Want?’ ‘Want friend?’” he asked. He got what passed for an affirmative answer from the Unown.
“…Well…” he said as the Unown returned what they were storing for him. “…Yes, I would like a friend… It’s not that you’re not doing a good job, it’s just… You know, you’re hard to understand…” He thought about what he had been doing earlier that day. “…And, uh… I-It would also be nice… I-If I had a mate… B-But, uh, you know… I-I know you’re not miracle workers, and…”
Suddenly, the Unown sent a message that he didn’t recognize, and started circling in the air above him. He started trying to decipher the message, closing his eyes, not noticing as they combined their Hidden Powers to form a ball of energy, which glowed white. The ball grew in both size and brightness as he thought, “…T… E… L… E… P… O… Wait… What-?” He was interrupted as the glowing energy suddenly brightened, the Unown using their power to bend space itself, bringing one place to another in a recreation of a rarely-seen Pokémon Move: Teleport.
