Many a man/woman/child/other has asked me this question. They ask "Amber. Why does Matilda have boobs? She's a reptile!" I always find it a bit funny since well...she is blue, has three eyes, and despite the claims she is a cobra-taur...cobras don't tend to have any limbs at all so her having 6 of em seems a bit excessive. Oh and she can breath fire. Of all the blatant disregards to physics and evolution, people always ask me about the boobs.
Well dear watchers...I shall reveal that answer. And that answer is this.

As for the image, its more or less a sketch I thought turned out cute. Unfortunately there wasn't any space for the other half of her so odds are anyone not familiar with the character will probably not realize she is meant to be a taur.
But narfit. I liked the face. And so coloured and up it goes! Next time I will be sure to draw a full body shot.

I seriously can't believe how much grief can be made by somebody who believes that reptile females shouldn't have boobs. I really... really can't. Considering all the other blatant disregard for realism other facets of the fandom have, you'd think these people would explode from it all.

Matilda is one of my favorite characters of the comic. The current story arc in the comic is one I'm very much looking forward to because for it will show more Matilda!... I hope! As for the whole Reptile + Boobs = Unrealistic bit. Well, like many above me stated, this is fantasy, she's an Anthromorphic creature of Mythological fantasy. Simple as that hah!
Unfortunatly that's something alot of the lizard ladies have to deal with when they want those fun bags! It's okay though, the reptillian males shall always give them the much needed affection.. and groping.

Three eyes, six limbs and blue; they ask about the boobs. Well, it just goes to show that people pay attention to boobs. (Go on, make more jokes. Say "Especially men!" Say "If you want to make sure a message gets across, put it on a wet teeshirt." I dare you!)

I'm going to agree with you there - boobs are really, really fun to draw, especially when you start to understand their physics. (Like how they lift with the collarbone/arms, conform to gravity, etc.) Feminine curves and boobs are probably my favorite things to draw. NOT A LESBIAN, I SWEARRRR
But man, I just love every aspect of your art. Your coloring/shading/colored lines are really, really great, because they make your pictures look so bright and bubbly, and it fits your style perfectly. Goddamn your art is just wonderful and it makes me want to squeal with joy. xD Matilda looks adorable in this picture.

There are not enough lizard girls out there with boobies...and I have zero idea why people whoul draw lizard girls without them anyway ( Gender Ambiguous I figure, but that's no fun! ). That you for adding one more out there to their collective ranks and spreading boobs around for all.
Despite being a none pink character, she became my favorite blue character in the DMFA series. x3 I love her personality and her willing to forgive Dan despite his rash decisions. And I seen Cobras, reptiles, dragons with breasts despite logically they won't have one but who cares too much on logic anyways? xD
