A friend's Star Wars character on commission.
The character was supposed to have both multiple arms with sharp bits, and yet have a "friendly small town doctor" personality. I tried to use both rounded and spindly design elements to get that combination - not sure how successfully.

Think it gets across friendly, and well meaning - all those hatches with who knows what hidden for "a rainy day" .
Admittedly, I can't help but think he's also the kind of medi-bot (MEDI-BOT) that on realising he doesn't have quite the right chemicals to hand, would bring out a hypodermic and tap it "Oh Goody. I've been looking forward for a chance to try out Formula #729, all-natural and should be mostly-safe on _character_species_here_"

*grins*
Admittedly my only real encounter with a PC playing a (experimental) droid in Star Wars, ended in large-sums of cash deposited into my account after encounters with crime lords, having a bounty hunter put on my tail (literally, I was an anthro-lizard type), an impending attack from another dimension by an army mechanical-organic beings...oh, and said droid, in his programmed desire to improve the lot of his Force-sensitive master, showing me the wonderful cloning facility he'd had prepared, all the better to extend my lifespan when I embraced the dark-side and used said mech-organo army to enslave the universe
Our GM did have a wicked sense of humour.
