Deva: "Oh. Hey Tera, perfect timing." *pets Gaomon's head* "Check it out. I caught a new Pokemon."
Tera: "You did?"
Deva: "Yup. Found her* wandering around in the Distortion Realm. The Pokedex didn't ping though, so she must be rare."
Tera: "Well. . . It might also be because it's actually a Digimon, not a Pokemon."
Deva: *shrugs* "Pokemon? Digimon? To-mah-to, to-may-to."
Gaomon: "I am not a to-mah-to!"
Lucy: "Okay." *nuzzles* "Welcome to the family, To-may-to."
And that's how Deva's first Digimon, Gaomon, ended up being christened with the name May.
*Actually, Gaomon is genderless. We're just referring to her in the feminine sense for the time being.
