Was at the Sarasota Medeival Faire/Festival helping some friends with their vendor booth and mostly chasing after my god-daughter, and I decieded I needed a psychic talisman to help me with the stress of the holiday season. I'm lightly thinking about getting a tattoo. I'm waiting for the right moment and tat, so in the mean time I got this temporary henna body art. Gorgeous work, horrible canves. ;) I asked the artist to make the oriental symbol for tiger part of his stripes. He did a great job on that. (It's on his left side) Tail is a bit long, but he asked if he could make it go down the thumb and I said yes. We'll find out today how my managers at work like it. ;) I'm not worried. I've been there 19 years and it's temporary. Could have gotten something a lot worse than a snarling tiger humping my arm. *LOL*
It'll darken in a few days and then fade in a week or 2. Maybe lasting up to a month if I can take care of it right. Doubt that'll happen, but I'll just take pics and save them. *purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*

Keep in mind that tattoos that are consistantly exposed to sunlight and heavy activity (especially while healing) have a very good chance of blurring out and fading. Not to mention you never know when beyond your employer, even something so simple as appearing in court as a witness, having something that would go onto your hand could be a bad idea. Many artists won't even do it unless you are already a proven collector. Just a little tweaking and that idea would work very well on your upper arm with the tail being an armband just below your elbow, or on your leg with the tail going down over your foot. It's a very nice design though. :)
A tatto would be something you'd really, really want to have before you have someone jab a needle into your body many, many times. ;) If that don't keep you out of the tatto parlors, nothing will. *purrrrrrrr* and thank you for the arm compliment... even though I'm not to sure about how true it is. It's human and all covered with hair. Ick!!
