I always wanted to have a go at depicting hypermuscular characters, not only because they're great for anatomy practice, but also because, unexpected as it may seem, muscles constitute one of my... "special" interests. I never could find a good justification to create an hypermuscular character of my own (even though Liz is quite buff), but faogwolf's lovely character Aranda gave me the pretext to try my hand at it, and I'm absolutely hoping that I succeeded in making her physique justice. At the very least, I now know that I can do this kind of body shape. ;)

This piece portrays just one of the possible drawbacks of being a 2.45 meter tall, 400+ kg anthro cat, with her muscle density working against the buoyancy necessary to perform some aquatic activities most of us take for granted. Poor Aranda, I am sure that she was looking forward to surf alongside Nat, who seems befuddled by the outcome of Aranda's surfboard dive. I'm very sure that there are several advantages to offset this upset, though. ;)
