Avast! She's not dead! Or maybe she is, and has come back from beyond the grave for this spooktober.
At either rate someone told me this week that selfies were the most American of all photos. (This was part of a very wandering conversation.) As an associate of mine had recently done a selfie pic ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/28615264/ ) there was discussion of selfie squirrels.
Had I any ability and willpower I would have made something interesting. Instead I did a teeny trace of said picture. That was too small so I dumped some patriotism in it, for it is the last refuge of the scoundrel and squirrel alike.
As with all my pixelwork it's 16 color EGAish. Now, back to not doing all the other stuff I need to do.

That was part of the argument. My friend was on the side of 'The selfie is all about YOU, it focuses on the individual. Blah blah liberty, blah blah...' I was more 'IDK, I guess, maybe?' The question was whether it was American in general or just had some traits that were american-ish. And then this was made.
To be Honest, I don't even know if the Kardashians Are American.... I think they might be here Illegally.... But they have money, so it's Okay.
I can't say that the Selfie is for Certain an American thing.... But given all of the Purly Stupid American thing's that Do Exist.... I find I cannot Deny it Either!
