She's a blind deer who keeps her eyes closed most of the time. She has capsular cataract which explains why her eyes are the way they are. Almost like looking at the sky with all the stars out.
Due to her blindness she's developed an heightened sense of hearing which she relies on often as well as her other senses to help her along.
