After the first two times of crashing I started to save frequently. You'd better believe I did. I guess it takes alot of ram to even color the smallest of pictures, but it's really only pictureit that crashes on me, but I prefer to use it for avatars.

how long did you spend on it?

I spendt a couple of hours on it the first day, but it kept on crashing on me, then the next day I got the bright idea to save frequently, that way when it did crash on me I didn't lose my progress. then it took me about and hour from start to finish including the various crashes. I dread the idea of coloring a drawing bigger than 100x100 pixels in PictureIT, put I prefer it over anything else for colorizing my avatars. Idk why...

That's the way to do it. Just keep drawing your favourite character until it just "Feels" right. I still feel that I draw my "Muse" character differently each time I draw her, but there's enough similarities that she feels consistant every time I draw her.

I try to keep her similar enough to still be recognizable and I try to keep the same essence that I went for when I did her original, but I wan't her to feel and look better. I guess I'm not the only person who does this.
