Pinstriped Grille

I see pinstriping on a lot on classic cars. The grille on this 1941 Chevrolet Coupe really caught my eye. Does anybody out there know if they came with the red striping from the factory or is that something done in the restoration? It would sure take a steady hand to make that happen.
