Sometimes...you just gotta sketch obscure characters from 90's cartoons.
In this case, this is Dr. Viper, a character I'm surprised I haven't draw until now. I even own his very cumbersome toy! (but not the easy-to-lose accessories)
I did this sketch right before I turned in my computer to the computer shop about a week ago, for a self-imposed art challenge that I sadly had to cancel because the computer being in the shop for over a week really put me too much behind schedule, and I've debated with myself on whether or not to post this here or if this was more a sketch than a completed image....but I like the way it looks so up it goes.
Didn't try to stick with him being 100% on-model in favor of just having fun with this big spooky reptile so yes, I realized way too late that Dr. Viper does not actually have the back spikes he has in this image. I made a goof and will just write it off as him just experimenting with some potions.
