You get layers of rock, and then the continents run into each other-- probably some President or Prime Minister driving drunk, there ought to be a good story in that somewhere. All those layers get crumpled up into mountains that nearly touch Heaven, so they call them the Himmel-layer Mountains.

You know how many thousands upon thousands of fossils have been found, that certainly demonstrates the danger, countless lives lost to stratification over the millennia.

Not the only kind of stratification around. It's branched out into society in the past ten milleniums (rough estimate) and has been finding that a lot faster, and also less restrictive.
