No tweaking, no nothing... this is exactly what it looked like. Can someone suggest better titles for these?

I've seen the box for it but never played. Not into the adventure games (Oh damn, of course I should have shoved the pencil in the dogs ear two hours back in the game!)
I'm at ice level here, lying on my back. Hard to tell how big those ice pieces are eh? Big one is about oh, two feet tall I figure. I'll have to post some situational pics in the scraps section when I have the time.

Incredible. Not just the mechanics of composition and exposure but the concept as well. The ice is translucent and appears delicate, but shows itself strong enough to hold back the sun and create a world of cool blue and ice on the other side of it. I tells me clearly which element rules the environment... at least in that season.
I think this one works better than the cropped version. Rather than an image, this one is also a story.

I agree, let the surroundings have their say. This was truly an amazing scene and was so transitory. I had two clear days, two sunsets, and then the weather turned. Next time I went out it was all covered in snow. There's a bunch of pictures of the scene showing the situation in my scraps drawer. Yah, I like CSN&Y, and damned if that tune didn't instantly pop into my head.
As my photography professor would say, "You took a risk by centering it" But this piece blows me away. Not many photos grab my eye, but looking at the preview, I couldn't stand to not look closer. And even then, I had to full-view it, then make it normal size to take it all in. I love this photo!
