That... was a very bad idea. o.o Pain and suffering are, well, painful. However, they guide us and define us. Everybody hurts, everybody experiances pain, but through it we grow stronger and wiser. Worse still, making him immortal. I'm very much reminded of the Doctor Who episode The Girl Who Lived. What once was a cheerful young lass, became increasingly cold and emotionally distant as she watched friends and family die, her entire clan die, her way of life die. Everything she knew morphed or changed dramatically. Even her memories began to fade, so she wrote them down into journals, but then she had amassed an entire library of journals so that she had to date them and keep them in chronological order...
