they kinda had i feel, which is the funniest part, the king being transformed in a giant mushroom was a good call to super mario bros. 3.
tbh i feel they just didn't had anything to work with, so they made up a lot of stuff, also they had a terrible idea of tone, which i feel, just adds to the charm of the movie.
tho i can't agree with luigi and daisy, those where meh.
