I know he's gonna get scolded for it, and it was a dick move on his part when she just wanted to give him cake, but she's literally a walking reminder of his horrific past being shoved in his face repeatedly. He has to have time to heal before he can see her again without being mean.
Called it. In his current state of mind, how could he see that as anything but the scientist rubbing it in his face ? Pardonne had the best of intentions, but Yanuna can't accept it. With all that being said...
