From left to right, we have Pawl the Poochyena, Gao the Mudkip, and Jolt the Electrike.

Pawl is your local shyboy. He's a little bit of a wall flower, but quickly becomes more comfortable with his social life after meeting Gao. He's very tactical in combat, and bases his dark-type fighting style mostly on intimidation and inventive fighting.

Gao is the thott-o supreme, a lazy kinda dude with a competitive streak a mile wide. He's gotten better at time management and such since meeting Pawl and Jolt, and uses his ground/water type abilities to be one of the best mud wrestlers in the region. He's very social, and more than ready to hit up a party given the chance.

Jolt is a bit prideful, maybe a bit hot-headed, but definitely one of the most tenacious fighters you'll meet. He uses high speed moves to confuse and tackle the opponent. He also had some social issues, until he met Gao. And despite his pride, he's more than willing to put himself on the line for a friend.
