You were put in a scenario where you were something you didn't want to be.
Where people wanted you to be things you didn't want to be.
And then you were given absolute power over everything.
And all you did with it was make a world that everyone wanted to live in. All you did with it was make sure no-one had to be someone they didn't want to be.
You were given the chance to make a world in your image--to be a God, to be worshiped--and some of you took that route. Some of you made the world the adventure you wanted to have, a game you wanted to play. Some of you made the world to suit your ideals, your curiosities, your fetishes.
You made the world with the sole, single concern that no one be unhappy.
You were given the choice to be whatever you wanted, to WANT whatever you wanted, and you decided to be a simple creature of innocent joy.
Out of all of the parts of myself that came from the first splintering, you are the one I love being the most. I hope, on some level, you know you are loved just as much as you yourself love all of your own little divisions.

A world of pure happiness, devoid of unhappiness, where all have what they want and that is that, it wouldn't nearly as pleasant as she might think. What is happiness? Without a point of reference to compare to, how would you know you're experiencing happiness? The good needs the bad to exist, not in equal measure, but enough that neither lose meaning. The good is a goal that the bad drives one to achieve, so on and so forth.
So on her own, her world would kinda suck. But she isn't on her own, the other nightmares governing reality allow her goodness to actually be good. Clever!

Yeah, that's literally how it works. If you ever ask a World or Heir level entity "Why do bad things happen to good people," the answer is always "Because in a world where it didn't, Story wouldn't be produced enough to offset loss to the Void, and the whole world would cease to exist instantly."
Let's be fair, it isn't like the Cotton Labyrinth is perfect either. You aren't guaranteed to get everything you want in it. You still have to work towards goals. You can still lose friends, be lonely, get into fights, be scared, get into accidents. The real takeaway is, no one can tell you what you can be but yourself, though.
The Ribbon Prince wasn't born royalty. He decided he wanted to be a Prince. But that still itself isn't enough--he could proclaim himself one, but he wasn't really one until he convinced Bird House, a knight, that he was worth serving. Bird House herself wasn't a knight until she could actually earn the title of being one, by being kind, courteous, obedient, and brave.
And I mean, there's a picture just a few days ago of Rainy Day Hobby and Backhand Stitch here tearing apart another knicknack who CERTAINLY doesn't want to be involved in this.
But they didn't destroy him, just ruined his body, and probably his day, and his mood. Now he's in a funk, has to build himself a temporary body, has to get himself new fabric he likes, has to sew himself a whole new body--and each one of those things is another scene in a Story. He's in a bad mood! He's unhappy! But he doesn't understand unhappiness like someone outside the Labyrinth.
His life isn't ruined, but his week sure is. His story WAS altered against his will--but the consequences are softer in the Labyrinth, between knicknack and knicknack.
It can still produce meaningful Story without making the people inside it miserable. Honestly, I think the Labyrinth could stand on its own as a complete World, but as it is, it bolsters an already strong world by providing a unique space for unique stories, and sends out Weird Guys into the greater world, who interact with living things, and they have even more intense stories, and that's all pretty swell.
