A moderately toxic species of wood-loving mushroom, growing in tremendous clusters with sulfur-yellow tops and faintly green gills. It's the Sulfur Tuft. :3
However poisonous it is to try eating... this species is actually super-useful for making natural dye. The colors it makes are a range of yellows of course, and it's capable of making a super-saturated chrome yellow that is otherwise impossible to derive from nature. ouo Very impressive lil 'shrooms and I'm glad the log I was staking out to see what mushies would come out ended up having so many impressive clumps of these.
