any knicknack that actually does go around giving other knicknacks Sad Days don't get Fiddle Widget's love tho
she brought them into this world
she can take you out of it just as easily

every knicknack comes into life with that word
it's why they're called knicknacks
knicknack is actually the elemental name of Creativity in the world. it's the sound effect that happens when you use a True Creativity power. every knicknack comes to life hearing that word
only the very, very bad ones lose their lives hearing fiddle widget say it a second time

The deer on the left is the manifestation of the UWI world consciousnesses
as with all worlds, UWI started as a single idea that divided itself into more and more ideas
Fiddle Widget was one of the first generation of Ideas that came into existence during UWI's division
she is only several seconds younger than the world she exists in, and is one of the beings that filled in an otherwise white void with color and meaning
if you ask who the green deer's mother was, she's an idea about a deer someone had right as their world was destroyed. the idea escaped, carrying with it just enough story to divide into a potential world

look i don't disagree
she is one of the deciding reasons i didn't try to pick the game back up. i just honestly wanted to do more fiddle widget.
and i didn't want to risk the players hurting her tbh
seeing as they were aiming more and more towards a "let's just kind of ruin everything" goal
Fiddle Widget is pure and innocent by CHOICE not by happenstance she made the conscious choice out of all things she could be--like Meadoe she had choices, even MORE choices since Meadoe was being Influenced from outside. Fiddle Widget was granted godhood and told "okay, what do you want things to be like" and her answer was "everyone should be free to be and do whatever they want without anyone getting hurt, and everyone is playing one giant game and i'm their mom" which is objectively laudable
i love her

I was going to ask how to kill or incapacitate this construct of unfathomable power, as I am instinctually untrusting about anything strong enough to not be taken down with a swift kick to the shin, but after reading that, how she, with her unfathomable power, chooses to be a good, loving, benevolent giver of life and liberty out of the kindness of her heart and choice of will, I don't think I want to know, cus I'd have to agree that yeah, Fiddy-Widdz is by far the best, I love you too, clothmom!
But yeah, we talking harder than the average 'knack to knacker? I assume it'd take more than a can of hairspray and a match to deface this beauty's delicate drapes.

Fiddle Widget was once a being that existed as the metaphorical body of a living concept given personality and Identity. When it came time to make the world, she and the other surviving Heirs built it, literally, out of chunks of their own body. Some of the Heirs chose to remain up in the realm of metaphors, sacrificing most of their Identity to strengthen the world. They exist now as fundamental rules--like the law of gravity. It isn't really a person you can talk to, but it holds everything together.
Fiddle Widget descended. She decided to entrap herself in a true physical form and bind herself to the rules, rather than become the rules entirely. But she still IS a part of those rules. They all still did come from her, so she isn't really properly mortal. She knows with absolute fluency how the entire world works--not like, where each pebble is, but the underpinnings that let it work. She programmed it, basically. Oh, that's a good metaphor.
She was one of the world's programmers, and while other programmers became part of the code, she allowed most of herself to become a character.
But it's still a character that knows how every line of code works, because those codes were made out of her own body.
I mean, metaphorically.
Within the metasetting, descended Heirs are by default one of the highest tier "This is not something I should be messing with lightly" entities you can run into. Worlds produce a TON of Story to prevent consumption by the Void, and all of that Story is descended from the Stories the Heirs produced at the beginning of time.
Which means yeah Fiddle Widget is strong and powerful. Ok sure she can pull out stitched-together weapons on the fly and attack in a cloud of needles and scissors. She has claws one moment, and her head is a wrecking ball the neck, and now she's got wings, and now she's got this, and that, and this. You burn a part of her and she sews more back to replace it in an instant. She is not an easy fight in the slightest. You're fighting a fifteen foot tall god who made the world you're standing in.
So in just a straight up normal fight you are in a very bad situation. That's not to say someone like, sufficiently equipped, prepared, and powerful can't beat her in a fair fight--but you aren't really going to find someone who can do that who was born inside this world.
Fiddle Widget also doesn't have to fight fairly, and can inject Story directly into your metafictional body so long as you're in her world, and override parts of your Identity. She's NICE so she will probably just make it so that you realize you don't want to fight her and then you become friends. Not like, mind-control, but literally overwriting your Identity itself on a level above your physical brainmeat. She has the entire Story of the world to use as fuel for this, and most people, who aren't worlds, have, maybe, a billionth of the power as she does in that situation, and just, there's nothing you can do.
Descended Heirs are the--third??--most powerful Thing you can be in this meta-setting. The only things you can be that are more naturally capable of Doing Stuff is the manifestation of an entire World--in that you have literally a whole universe inside you powering you, that's #2--and if you're a manifestation of Nothing--in that your very "existence" is the act of things ceasing to exist, that's #1.
Like. It's OP as heck, but in a gnostic way most Heirs and Worlds know better than to actually abuse the things they can do. Fiddle Widget, for her part, is never, ever going to pick a fight with anyone that she doesn't have business picking a fight with. She DOES prevent the Cotton Labyrinth from being invaded, but there isn't like there's a ton of amazing resources in there worth fighting over anyway.

I realize I didn't answer your question of "how to kill"
The first step is "At the very least be aware that you are a character in a story and seize control and become your own author"
The recommended level is "you have divided yourself and created a living world inside of you and are now a god"
which leads to
"you know better than to pick fights with other worlds"
