If you get a chance, give Mechwarrior 3 a try; it's a much better representation of the original Battletech game.

funny thing there are ways to modify them in core rules but it requires making them a new production run wich is up to the guys your gaming with, since last I remember the Bushwhacker in any configuration is not an Omni-Mech, nice pic though.

Actually its the kind of 'mech, Omni 'mechs are mutch (yes I know I am misspelling it I am letting my accent through) easier to modify their weapons load outs, where as standard are more difficult and may not be modifiable other than replacing a weapon with a similar one for size and type (I.E. replacing a small pulse laser with a single er medium laser, machine guns with a medium laser group if you removed the ammo as well or ammo for another weapon providing the feeding mechanism can co-operate). Though the easiest place to stuff a PPC on a 'mech like that would be replacing the arm like the auto cannon that they normally have... maybe, though it could always get ahold of a hand held one and hold it in it's left hand... Yes the design actually has a hand they removed it in MW 4 to simplify the model, makes sense since you can't use em.

heh, besides I prefer a clan large laser and twin med pulse lasers in the torso, clan preferably, then throw on either a rotary auto cannon (mercenaries only) or an ultra AC/5 I think it was not sure been a while since I went back to 4, can't remember what would fit there... Meh, I'll stick with my Timberwolf (Madcat) I've never made any changes to it when I had the equipment available.

Great now I am rambling... sorry I am both very tired and this is a subject that I rather like so I like spreading my knowledge about it, I didn't mean to target your design with my LRM 20's if it seams that way I just wanted to put in my 2 cents... also, I wish I could get myself to sit and actually color things, the color job you did makes it mutch better, and on your leg problem, the legs rarely fully straiten on the reverse joint leg 'mechs while moving.

*sigh* MW4 really ruined a lot of the customization capabilities, really. You had much more options in 3 and 2, as circuit mentioned. Plus, MW4 and MW4:Mercenaries cause missiles to fly as big packs of five. Not like the old days in 2 and 3, where two LRM 20s meant 40 individual rockets heading downrange.

Well i have no problems with the customizations in this one, looks like i have some kind of feeling with any kind of machine in videogames, because i can drive even the most undriveble and turn the most crappy one into a monster ^^;
Well for me the most important thing is the fun, not the aspect itself, and i have fun with MW4 ^^

Ah Mechwarrior 4, bad reprisentation of the Battletech series... but it sure was fun running at the speed of rape with more cannons than Patton. Mech 4 Mercenaries FTW!
