Getting a bit weary of drawing the same two mascots at my alumni office intership, as one of a series of proposed newsletter headers, I've introduced one I made up on the spot.
Introducting UCF's Knightrous, the female counterpart to the mascot Knitro. I made her into a female knight with an attitude, inspired by both the betty-page girls drawn by Coop and the well-known female knight Joan of Arc.
It is my mission to see her not only become adopted as an official mascot, but to see her printed on shirts and clothing for the various bookstores and athletic wear around campus.
I'm thinking she could especially fit in women's teams, and both men and women would love her because I think she has a hip, rock-n-roll look to her personaly. She's already won over some people at the internship office.
