Landorus was not in a good mood.
Fifty years. Fifty years since the gods came back.
Fifty years he spent covering and repairing all the messes and damages Tornadus and Thundurus did.
They were already pricks before the Great Schism, and these centuries of exile didn't change that.
These two little bastards loved being dicks and causing problems to mortals.
Granted, they never went beyond pranks, but very mean-spirited pranks, like victimless destruction.
Before the Schism and during the exile, Landorus already had trouble keeping them under control.
But when they returned, the leader of the Forces of Nature, gods of the land's fertility, got separated from them.
And the two little pricks took the opportunity to bail.
Since then, he'd been trying to catch up to them, and they kept running away from him to keep being free doing their craps.
And after fifty years of this, Landorus was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
The last trace he had of them was the destruction of a building, and he was going there, hoping but not believing that they were still there.
Lo and behold, they were still there.
Landorus' surprise grew greater when he got a better look at the incarnations of storm, and realized they were wearing hard hats and safety jackets typical of construction works. They even had a jackhammer and a pickaxe in hand.
That they were resting on and sleeping.
Landorus shook his head to get back to his senses, and began closing in slowly and silently, refusing to blow this unhoped for opportunity...
"OI!! THE FUCK YOU'RE DOING?!" barked angrily a voice.
Landorus quickly hid back as a Conkeldurr stomped angrily towards the now awake duo.
"I hope for you you weren't slacking off!" he kept barking.
What is he doing?! thought the incarnation of crops and land life. He doesn't know who they are! They're going...
"No sir!" yelped Tornadus. "We were just taking a quick break, catch our breath!"
"Yes, just a quick break, sir, that's all!" hurriedly added Thundurus.
Landorus felt his jaw hit the ground.
The Conkeldurr kept glaring at them for a few seconds, making them squirm and sweat.
"Fine," he finally said. "Keep it that way, you hear me?"
"Sir yes sir!" replied the duo.
The Conkeldurr left, and the duo breathed with relief before digging some foundations.
From his hiding spot, Landorus went from "astonished" to "flabbergasted".
They... They're terrified of him?! How?! How a mortal could scare these two?!
"Trust me, Angus is not the kind of mortal you want to mess with," suddenly said a voice behind the orange god.
Said god yelped and turned around...
"Lord Arceus!" he exclaimed with a huge relief.
"It is good to see you back, Landorus," smiled the Creator.
"It is good to see you too, Lord... But what the hell is going on?!"
Arceus laughed.
"This, Landorus, is a long story. It began fifty years ago. When I came back to the mortal world, I fell in a lake..."
