Cal was lost, realizing that the woods seemed to shift over time. The trees became scarce, losing much of its bark. Even the ground was moist and muddy with sticks lying all over the place. Cal looked up, noticing the sky was cloudy, with a red hue flickering from behind. He sighed, looking over the map, and trying to navigate around the creepy woods. But wherever he went, he couldn't seem to find a way out. He kicked a dead bark, sending the tree toppling on to the ground, crashing towards the ground. Cal noticed the tree seemed to shimmer, as a small little light came floating above him, sprinkling pink dust on top of him. Cal cried, trying to bash away the dust, while his torso began to feel warm.
Cal didn't realize tufts of yellow was sticking out of his collar, his muscles beginning to tone with some muscle, while his arms became thick. He tried scratching around his body, feeling the blue fur erupting over his arms and legs, with his feet bursting out of his shoes, revealing to be paws, Cal felt his legs thickening, his pants buckling a bit from the extra weight, meanwhile, his tailbone was beginning to press against his pants. Cal groaned, reaching his giant paws from behind, as he tried to push the pressure back into his body, yet to no avail as the giant blue and yellowtail ripped free.
Cal panted, his mouth region getting covered by the yellow fur, while formed out into a wolf muzzle, along with his nose forming into a black snout. He sniffed the air, shaking his glasses off of his face, noticing the smell of rainwater, with the rest of his head covered in the blue fur, his shaggy brown hair deforming into the fur, while his ears point out into two triangles. He seemed to be having a hard time thinking, the smells of the woods causing him to act wild, starting to growl, while his redshirt turned green, his collar lengthening, wrapping around his neck, while his shirt sleeves curled up around his elbows.
As a brown vest formed out of his new attire, with stitchings sewed across, a green strap erupted underneath of his collar, wrapping around his pants loop, while a green belt strapped around his waist. His tight blue jeans expanded, darkening to a dark-green, while another strap emerges around his right leg, holding on to a small light brown traveling bag. Cal noticed a shard of glass attaching to his strap transforming into two glass jars. Cal snarled, drooling at the idea of knawing on a fairy made him hungry. His glasses tore in two, as the temples wrapped around his wrists and expanded into two brown bands as the glass flattened into two x's on both bands. Cals torn shoes stitched back together, the material hardening into steel around the front, with his white strings thickening into two heavy brown straps wrapped around his newly formed boots, while a metal loop holds both straps in place.
As a worn light brown net popped out of his back, Cal's eyes began to glow pure yellow, howling into the night sky, as the spooky woods seemed to screech along with him. The wolfs mind no longer Cals, but a creature named Balthazar, as he examined the fairies floating from above him. He licked his fangs, grabbing a hold of his net, and throwing it from above. He managed to catch a good many of the fairies, taking a glass jar, and placing them inside. Once he screwed the lid shut, Balthazar smiled. He knew for a fact that these woods would be the home of the pink fairies, especially when he was once lost in these some woods many years ago. What made him chuckle was a cruddy map lying on the ground, covered in mud, and saliva.
The wolf chuckled, kicking the map into the air, watching it blow away into the sky, as he ran on all fours into the night. Balthazar sniffed, smelling the scent of his kind, as he ran back home, away from the nightmare that he no longer feared.
