I think I recognize the IDW style of Megs here. I wish I could say I read much into their series but I do recall hearing how they did numerous unexpected twists like Megs teaming up with Hot Rod as an Autobot.

Yup. I've mostly just seen bits and pieces of it on tumblr. Need to sit down and read some of it soon.
