For a cute little ham I am definitely not the affectionate-cuddly type.
I feel kinda bad for not hugging when I know someone really needs one... but I guess if I really wanted to, then I would?
It's not very fair since he's helped me plenty of times when I was feeling really sad and depressed. But I don't even do little things like this. Blah.

Speedhugging: How to Go From Zero to Hugs in Under 60 Seconds: http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/20.....er-60-seconds/
Isn' that weird? I think I'm pretty much the same way, like I love being cute n' all but I just can't...Bring myself to hug someone...I don't really like it either lol. I do love seeing it though, mostly drawn and whatnot, it's cute and cuddly but ti's like...ugh...Get...Of...Me...
Yeah I feel bad for it to D: Musta gotten it for my mother 'cause she pushes me away sometimes too :3 lol "I'll go to hell"

Yeah. SOMETIMES. Some of my friends are a lot less affectionate and "effeminate" or whatever than I am but don't mind hugging. It's weird I tell you. I wish I liked hugging, I sure like drawing it.
...If only I could learn a convinient way to draw arms going around each other...

Ah, poor Aro. After all he has been through, I'd hug him if it would help him to feel better. Yep, yep, yep!
Though, on another note, hugs are very fond gestures, too. Like you said in the remark, you'd do one if it was felt right at the time and doing so when it is not just works to make things awkward instead of better. The last thing an emotional situation needs to ever have added to it is more drama.
Honestly, and some have already mentioned it, the best course of action in times like this is really to help talk things out with the person. Let the one who seems to need the emotional support get out their feelings and then, as they do, offer bits of wisdom to remind them of the better things in life that have been, still are, and those that are still yet to come. It's amazing how a solid conversation can revitilize one's spirit back to 100%.

Awwwwww. I love this picture.
I love how you've depicted Aro looking and feeling so sad! Heheh. It makes me want to reach out and hug the poor hummingbird!
Nishi is definitely a bad character for not giving Aro any hugs!! :P
Lovely artwork. You've nailed the sad expressions of Aro very nicely!
