Surprised the hell out of me too! We had successive days of freeze and melt, combined with winds that splashed the water up onto the shore. That's how this and all the other icy pics came to be. Check the gallery for more and much more on the way! I was particularly amazed by this one, a single blade of grass with ice gradually built up onto it. Beautiful!
