Lost Macaw Soul

and Falkie
While I was taking a walk in the forest I saw a hurt green winged macaw, lying on the floor. I quickly approached, wanting to help him but I didn't knew how to, so I said “oh no, you poor thing” I saw his eyes looking at me as it was dying. I felt upset wanting to put him out of his misery, but I could´t and I said “I can't do it. But I will bury you somewhere nice” I gazed on his eyes and wanted to run away from it at first, but then I saw him turn into a ghost macaw before my eyes. I was shocked at this.
I saw the ghost of the dead macaw slowly fading when it left its body. The ghost maybe saw me as a friend or a suitable host, maybe it wanted to do me a favour, or just acted out of self preservation, anyway the ghost of the macaw flew inside of my body. I felt a cold shiver and a short sharp pain. after that, I felt strange.
I felt my body changing, shrinking into bird form. Is this my destiny to become a bird? I said “what is happening?” my red jumper was getting bigger on me, as I was shrinking into the right body of a macaw, my shoes and socks fell off. I saw my feet changed into black twisted, rough talons. it was quite painful for me. I was still scared and confused, I didn't knew what to do, when my arms changed into bird wings. They became the red, green and blue feathered wings of a macaw, while red feathers continued spreading over my body..
My face changed into that of a macaw. The changes made me feel Pain as my skull shifted and my teeth pushed out becoming the powerful white beak of a Macaw. I screamed out in pain, letting out a few parrot screeches as my human speech was now gone. In the final impulses of the transformation, I saw my glasses finally falling from my changed skull and my clothes fell off of me on the grass. My mind was also reformed as the new Macaw mind took over with all its new instincts combining my human mind with a new Macaw mind.
I flapped my wings, feeling happy and I saw my clothes fading away. I felt a sharp pain on my new wing. I fell to the ground, being hurt. then little a girl came and said “hello there, you look hurt Mr Macaw, don't worry I will fix you up” I wanted to talk but all I get is screeches as macaw, being so adjusted to the vocal chords of a Macaw. she lifted me up. I felt a bit scared until she pet me. it felt strange at first, but really pleasant. I felt happy so she took me to her house and fixed me up.
After a couple of days, my wing has healed and she let me go free. I was hesitant, not wanting to leave. she said “come on, be free Mr Macaw. are you scared?” I nodded. I wanted to say ,thank you, and ,yes I am scared, but I still wasn't able to. I flew on her shoulders and she replied “you want stay here with me?” I nodded. After that I stayed with her, becoming her pet. we bonded greatly over time and we became good friends. slowly I started to learn how to use my new voice and I learned to talk, like a Macaw does . My owner is very nice and kind. she lets me fly around in her house. I feel free now and We live happy ever after.
