A couple of songs that played often during this pic, their lyrics hits that feeling for me even if the tune doesn't much match the feeling. But it also shows and feels the panic and high emotions in the upbeat leading to this pretty often. no where to hide.
Change isn't easy.
Getting over the past and all its sweet and very bitter, hard to stomach it. Sometimes, you want to hide and pretend things didn't happen as they did. You curl yourself an an impossibly tight ball, hoping, wishing you'd just disappear into yourself. Just exist with no sense of self of memories, good or bad. That feeling of, what if i closed my eyes hard enough, what if i just dreamt it all up? It can't be this way?
Most of us got to open our eyes and face it. But you can take your time and cry first, curl into that ball.
We can face it tomorrow.
