It was already too late for Xayah when she noticed an enormous shadow engulfing her body from behind, the poor girl unable to dodge the massive colossus fist coming towards her from the bushes!
The stunned vastaya couldn't move not even an inch as her body became thin as a pancake, plastered on the ground like dough! Unable to do anything but stare, she could only hope that the giant would be merciful enough to make quick work of her... but just as the car-sized fist approached her again, a familiar set of orange feathers appeared, snapping against the fist and sending the entire colossus back into the bushes in a powerful wind explosion!
"Oh dear... it seems that you got turned into a violet rug!"
Rakan said with a smirk, getting a hold on his partner's flattened head and pelling it up with a nice 'schhrrrlp' sound. It seemed that the squished girl tried to speak something, but only muffled grumbles could be heard coming from her pressed mouth.
"But don't worry sweetie, I will bring you back to the fountain to get you fixed! Hmm...though I always wanted to practice ribbon dancing~"
