"Pseudomanitou! Where art thou!"
Been doing this inktober thing (cheating with digital, of course), and some of the marks I ended up making reminded me of an artist I hadn't seen for a long long time...
One thing lead to another and soon I ended up neck-deep in nostalgia for the mid-2000s. I miss the expressive art of that time.
Sometimes I wonder where everyone ended up.
I miss you all very much.
Sorry for my absence, everyone. I'm alive and well, but I'm nearly not doing any art nowadays.
Little by little, these recent years my career has been steadily turning from art toward software engineering; now my job no longer involves much art, it's mostly engineering. As such, my effort has been focused toward becoming as good of a programmer as I can manage to. Can't say it hasn't been a fun journey at some times, utterly frustrating and overwhelming at others. There still remains a lot to learn and master; the wonderful world of obscure algorithms, elegant design patterns, weird languages, and intricate low-level hardware details beckons...

I have always loved your artwork, glad to see you’re still around.
Will be waiting patiently for those treasured moments, where your analytical mind will want to balance itself and disentangle from obscure algorithms for a brief moment, just to pour itself into even more intricate designs of a somewhat familiar, yet totally different nature
