Ripo doin some spoopy magic! The runes are the Theban Alphabet, also called the Witch's Alphabet, and actually spell out "RIPO S" because I had no idea what else to write... only I realized after I was done that if I wrote them the way I did- radiating out from her, so upside-down from this view-- it would be "S OPIR." Whoops XwX
I didn't want to kill my black brush pen doing the background so I filled that in with Photoshop. Given that this picture still killed my orange marker, I think that's fair :p
My bro Pugthulu said this gave him PTSD flashbacks to Nightmare King Grimm from Hollow Night, and having looked that up, yeah, I can see the resemblance.
