I LOVE owls. Some of the best birds, really. I seem to have some luck where they are concerned. Pretty much anything else with feathers seems to want to eat me, from chickens to eagles, despite my best efforts to remain unattractive as a food source, and as non-threatening as possible.

I refuse to be considered food. I mean, there is something wrong with me, if foxes, skunks, polecats, and most snakes ignore or enjoy my presence, while supposedly house-kept feathered critters universally see me as edible...*licks his paw* I don't see how I'd be tasty.
Any advice on how to avoid being pecked, clawed, attacked, or whatever it is a bird of considerable size would do? Besides staying far away--I'm afraid it's not always an option with the sort of people I hang out with.

Hmm tricks on being less edible or fun to pester? Stand up for yourself, actually! Heh heh, its largely a dominance thing, showing them that you wont get phased and that youre a fellow not to be messed with yourself! Prove that youre not worth messing with.
