I would love to see you do a pic of my fursonas fighting each other
Something around... like ODD torturing Edgar cause he hates her ways.... :3
I HOPE THIS SUFFICES D:
Material-wise, this is charcoal, colored pencil, and a bit of white gel pen on plain ol' 9x12 office paper. This was kind of an experiment to see what I could make work, since I've never done a *real* drawing using these materials, and I feel it went... moderately well. :V
Charcoal is fun, but it makes SUCH. A DAMN. MESS. Particularly on the drawing itself, which causes everything to end up rather gray and dingy. But that kinda works in this case, I guess. From my experience, I think charcoal's better suited to bigger drawings. Unfortunately, I have not the space, paper, or scanner to make such drawings at home. ゚⊿゚
Also, charcoal does not work well on top of colored pencils (or at least not student-quality ones).
Drawing-wise, I'm quite happy with the way Edgar (the one missing an arm) came out for the most part (though I do like her face better in [the sketch]) and ODD (the one holding an arm) came out much better than in the [sketch].
However, ODD still looks like complete shit, and the disembodied arm is rather off as well. The extreme contrast on Edgar's shirt and hair is also kind of off-putting.
All in all, I'd say it's okay. If the right two-thirds of the image were removed, I'd say it's probably one of my best drawing yet. BUT that's just me, what do you terrible, nasty people think?
And in case you missed it before, [original sketch is here].
