Ye sure its a female and not a male? Cause looks an awful lot like Salem Saberhagen from Sabrina. Also was a human and a witch. But he is being punished for trying to take over the world.

I did think a purple hat and cloak on a black cat looked familiar, but I couldn't place my finger on where I had seen the design before!

And now that I mentioned it, you cant help but see the similarities can ye? Ah well, she is cute. For a possible name, there is always Neko. Or maybe Matatabi.

I see I'm not alone in seeing the similarities to Salem here, but yeah I can't help but imagine that the whole "7 years as a cat" deal just made her wanna go through with the training even more. And they say black cats are unlucky... Kinda hoping we'll see more of her, I really ought to pay more attention to your non-Pokemon stuff.

This backstory you gave her involves a big part of why I like transformation. I freaking love it when they enjoy their new form, and besides, just think of how awesome it would be to be a cat for even a few minutes! Or a dog, or... most things, really. Just look at Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, I bet being turned into a Pokemon was a huge draw for many, and that most of us fantasize about being our favorites.

For some reason, the idea of being abducted by a witch/wizard And being turned into a cat familiar has always appealed to me in a weird way. I think it's because it combines the lack of responsibility that comes from being an animal and the chance to get some magic powers.

I'd love to do more with her, though I must admit I'm a little lost as to what I'd do beyond writing out her initial backstory as a short story. I'll have to see if anything comes to mind, maybe it's time to create an animal cast and see where that road takes me :P
