So I don't know if I have ever mentioned on here that I am am part of a performing Dance team. Welp I am and we dance several types of traditional dances from Europe or the Appalachian region of the United States of America. We do Square dance, English Dance, Contra Dance, Highland Dance, Clogging, and my favorite . . . Morris Dancing (Specifically the ones with sticks). Anyways we had a performance today and I came down with a BAD stomach bug and a fever. Anyways the show must go on! However the audience today was on the more elderly side and we didn't want to risk me breathing germs on them soooooo. I had to dance with a surgical like face mask. The mask actually has a nose and teeth sewn on and looks like a toothy grin (like in the image above). I have never dance with a mask on( except for in an Abbots Bromley Horn Dance of course!). It was kinda cool and I hope to one day fur suit and dance. (once I get a fursuit! If I do I'll dance and post it for sure!) The mask is cute though. I got it in China when my group went on tour there summer before last.
