• Biography: Lysimache is one of the younger ½ mermaids born to Junichiro and Palutena. She is approximately a month younger than Adelpha and a month & week younger than Marzipan, which would make Marzipan a week older than Adelpha. Although she had a nicely developed chest already at the age of 16, she still felt like a short stack compared to her other sisters but was nonetheless assured by her father that she was perfect regardless of how she appeared. Even so, she hung around with her big sisters whenever her father was home telling tales of his travels. Lysimache, like them before her, grew inspired to be a fighter, but was indecisive on what path she would take in terms of fighting. That is until she met Eurydice’s pegasus Orpheus. This made her want to be a Pegasus Knight like Eurydice is. With that, she went with Chariklo and her father, so she and her older sister could pick out a pegasus to have as their steed. Lysimache found her pegasus when she was feeding the first one she came upon, and given the nature of the pegasus, Lysimache immediately took a liking to the pegasus and when asked if it was the one she wanted, Lysimache nodded and the pegasus was adopted. Lysimache rode her pegasus, now named Colia, as she trained how to battle using a lance and while on its back. It took Lysimache a few tries, but she managed to knock her father’s lance out of his hand like Eurydice and Chariklo before her, which completed her training. When it came time for Juni to visit the Fire Emblem universe, he took with him most of the older ½ mermaids who had also undergone training, save for Eurydice who initially stayed behind. Lysimache went in her place. On the continent of Gaia, she enlisted in the Gaia Army, becoming a soldier in a squadron lead by Chariklo. Sadly, during the siege of Gaia Castle, Lysimache was the only one of the squadron to survive save Chariklo who also lived. After escaping the castle, Lysimache was initially asked to return home by Juni, wanting her to be home safe & sound, but Lysimache, with Chariklo, verbally protested, saying she understood where the current path was taking them and were not afraid. To this end, Juni had a change of heart and permitted the two to stay as he, Julie, and Shantae enlisted them in the new army being formed: The Gaia Alliance, on the off-chance they promised Juni one thing: That they be careful and stay alive. That was a promise Lysimache intended to keep at all costs. Lysimache is a very friendly and sociable girl, but only to those she knows. Around new people, she becomes very shy and meek to the point of hiding behind her father right away whenever he’s around, yet it also leads to moments of lacking self-confidence. At one point, it lead her to running away from the base camp after overhearing a conversation and getting the utmost wrong idea, which ended up escalating into a search & rescue mission in the end. However, Lysimache is working to boost her self-confidence to new levels. Nonetheless, she is quite playful and loves nothing more than playing games with other younger members of the alliance. However, she cannot stand adults who do not act their age, going so far as to tell them “You need to grow up”, which is so ironic coming from her, it downright hurts. Wakes up with the worst bedhead.
• Abilities: As with all her ½ mermaid siblings, Lysimache takes on her mermaid form whenever she enters the water in just any body of it when one is present. In the water, she doesn’t gain an increase in movement (since it’s already high thanks to being a mounted unit), but her avoid/dodge go up as with any of her other hybrid sisters. Lysimache starts out weak at first, but she does fortunately, have good growth rates in strength, skill, speed, and defense, not to mention resistance. However, her luck is in the middle, while magic growth is so-so. Despite this, magic does get a good boost every now and then. Promotion wise, Lysimache’s options include the Ylissean line, namely a Falcon Knight, or a Dark Falcon. She starts with the following weapons and skills.
o Iron Lance: A durable and easy to wield lance. Lysimache’s favored weapon. It can be used 40 times before it breaks.
o Miniature Lance: An absurdly short lance. Boasts a high critical hit rate. Unfortunately, it only has 10 uses.
o Magic Bounce: The personal skill of Lysimache. When targeted by a negative stats staff (Sleep and Silence for example) from a long distance, the effect is reflected straight back to the user, afflicting them with it instead.
o Canto: Allows the user to move again and use up any leftover movement distance. Won't activate after attacking.
o Triangle Attack: The innate skill of any Pegasus Knight Trio. Guarantees a critical hit. Can only be used if in a specific formation with Eurydice and Chariklo.
o Speed +2: Grants Speed +2.
