You sure you haven't decide on an animal? It kinda reminds me of a dragon race. (Dragons don't need to have wings to be considered dragons. An example of this would be Freya from Final Fantasy IX.)

Anywho, he does appear to look like a dragon and that's true that dragons don't have to have wings or horns and stuff. Could be a mix of in my opinion.

Wow; I don't know why, but ever since I've seen Soul Eater (and maybe some time before that), I've always had a fascination for characters bearing a scythe. Of course, the character himself looks bad-ass enough for my tastes without the weapon, but the two really compliment each other. Great work Suruga.
